Not All Proteins are Created Equal...

The proteins in spirulina are absolutely unique. * Unlike other plant proteins which are notably low in biological value (incomplete proteins) because of incomplete essential amino acids, spirulina has a high-biological value protein with a superior complete amino acid profile containing - in the correct proportions - all 8 essential amino acids plus an additional 10 nonessential amino acids.

Superior Assimilation and Easy Digestion

Spirulina contains virtually no indigestible substances. Unlike other plant foods whose nutrients are largely unavailable (unless cooked or sprouted) because they are encased like microscopic nuts within walls of tough indigestible cellulose, spirulina's cell walls are bubble-thin complex natural sugars which practically dissolve upon contact with moisture and digestive enzymes. Within moments, its concentrated nutrients, enzymes, and living essences are absorbed into the bloodstream without the momentous loss of energy incurred in the digestion of ordinary foods.

* Unlike other high-protein foods, which are characteristically difficult to digest, spirulina is extraordinarily easy to digest: it has an unmatched digestibility coefficient of 95%! Its amino acids are delivered in an essentially “free form” state for almost instantaneous assimilation.

Clean Chlorella · A Natural Cleanser

Packed with antioxidants, carotenoids, RNA and DNA nucleic acids, protein, vitamins, minerals and other nutrients

Aids the body in the breakdown of heavy metals and other toxins. Available in powder and tablets

Chlorella is the fastest reproducing singe cell in nature and contains RNA (genetic information) that strengthens and protects cell during replication. Perhaps natures most intensely studied food; chlorella also helps break down the heavy metals and toxins such as PCBs, DDT, mercury, cadmium and lead. Chlorella is also natures richest source of chlorophyll containing up to 2-3 times more than other algaes and grasses.

Chlorella provides more chlorophyll (1.7 to 3 percent) than any other food. Studies have revealed that Chlorella may help lower cholesterol because of its high Omega-3 essential fatty acid content. It may also slow the progression of arteriosclerosis and aid in lowering serum cholesterol levels.

Clean Chlorella · Scientific Reference

What research reveals?
Chlorella is possibly the most thoroughly researched food of our time, with thousands of research papers, from many universities and medical schools published in the scientific journals. Previous chapters, show the great variety of beneficial health effects chlorella has on the human body. This underlines its general importance, but I believe that some readers will appreciate a somewhat more technical discussion.

Safety of Chlorella

In a study of the potential acute oral toxicity of green and yellow chlorella powders, The Huntington Research Center, Huntington, England, tested groups of rats of the CFY strain by giving them dosages of chlorella powder in distilled water for a 14-day observation period. The LD-50 was found to be in excess of 16-grams/Kg body weight. All rats survived the observation period, no adverse reactions to Chlorella ingestion were found. (“Acute Oral Toxicity to Rats of Green Chlorella and Yellow Chlorella Powders,” Unpublished report, Huntington Research Center, Huntington, England, No. 1972).
